Today's 2-minute improvement

Make the first step ridiculously easy.

When a habit feels too big to begin, shrink the starting action until there is almost no resistance.

01 · THE IDEA

Start smaller than your ambition.

We often make change harder by designing the perfect version before we have built the habit of starting. A tiny first action lowers the mental cost and makes it easier to repeat tomorrow.

02 · WHY IT MATTERS

Consistency needs less friction, not more pressure.

If the first step requires too much time, energy or setup, you can keep postponing it. A smaller action gives you a reliable entry point — especially on ordinary days when motivation is average.

03 · TRY THIS TODAY

Choose one thing you keep postponing. Make the first action take two minutes or less.

Open the document. Put on the shoes. Write the first sentence. Fill the water bottle. Then decide whether you want to continue.
